Position Title: Technical Sales Support Representative (TSSR)
Location: Billerica, MA (Headquarters)
Employment Type: Full Time - Regular
Education Required: Bachelors Degree
Experience Required: 2 Years or more

Position Description:
Aushon is seeking a results-oriented professional to provide technical sales and customer support. The TSSR is responsible for providing technical product information to internal and external audiences, issuing customer quotes and pricing information, and managing customer technical support issues. The TSSR will work closely with our team of regional Account Managers, as well as other internal clients such as Research & Development, Engineering, and Marketing. The TSSR must be able to build trust and credibility, deliver a clear and compelling message, and respond efficiently and effectively to both internal and external customer inquiries and needs.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Field customer calls and e-mails.  As often as possible, obtain necessary information and reply directly to customer.  Forward for technical follow-up when required.
  • Provide pricing information and general product information regarding the immunoassay kits and services, and microarray instrument and services.
  • Generate all quotations for immunoassay and microarray products. Provide quotes to product managers or directly to customers, as required.  Save PDF quotes in the shared sales folder and manage archives.  Work with the COO and Account Managers to resolve special discount requests or customer concerns.
  • Coordinate customer orders with manufacturing / shipping. Communicate customer deadlines, set priorities based on customer needs, track progress of kits / open orders, and communicate delays as required. 
  • Log customer complaints / issues in the Quickbase database.  Maintain and communicate weekly open issues report to team.  Coordinate / run weekly meeting to discuss open issues.
  • Track status of all quotations issued by territory.
  • Continue to develop technical and application knowledge of both Aushon and competing products and services in order to provide prospective customers with compelling, accurate, and concise information.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in business or Life Sciences preferred
  • At least 2 years of sales/inside sales/sales support experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
  • Must have a strong phone presence and interpersonal skills dealing with both internal and external clients, as well as prospects.
  • Must be customer service focused.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle objections.
  • Detail oriented and organized with excellent time management and prioritization skills.
  • Must embrace a creative challenge. 
  • Must possess strong relationship building skills.
  • Energetic and motivated with a positive attitude able to readily adapt to change.
